Santa Ana School Board Elects Officers

SANTA ANA — Trustee Richard C. Hernandez has been selected as president of the Santa Ana Unified School District Board of Trustees following recent board elections.
As part of the annual rotation of board officers, trustee Robert W. Balen will become vice president and trustee Rosemarie Avila will become clerk.
At its regular meeting last week, the board also elected trustee Sal Mendoza to become the district representative to the Nominating Committee on School District Organization.
Balen will take over as the district political action representative to the Orange County School Board Assn.
