Tom Gorman, who pitched for the New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics from 1952-59, died Saturday of heart disease. He was 67. Gorman appeared in 289 games, mostly in relief, compiling a 36-36 record with 42 saves and a 3.77 earned-run average. His best season was 1955, when he won seven games and saved 18 for the A’s.
