Gene A. Lucerno has joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Lucerno, an environmental lawyer, formerly headed Sidley & Austin’s West Coast environmental practice and from 1982 to 1988 served as director of waste programs enforcement at the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
