Fresno State Lands Brea’s Chris Conrad
Brea-Olinda offensive tackle Chris Conrad has committed to Fresno State, becoming the fifth Orange County football player who plans to sign Feb. 3 with the Bulldogs.
Conrad, 6 feet 7 and 270 pounds, chose Fresno State over San Diego State, Utah State and Weber State.
Conrad, an all-Southern Section and all-Orange League selection, joins Rancho Alamitos flanker Marshall Brown, Servite offensive tackle Jeff Malone, El Modena linebacker Ryan Holmes and Servite defensive back A.J. Gass as having committed to Fresno State.
The Bulldogs, who upset USC, 24-7, in the Freedom Bowl, have received nine commitments from Southern California players.
