ARLETA : Man Found Shot to Death in Alley

A 26-year-old man was discovered shot to death Tuesday morning in an Arleta alley, Los Angeles police said.
A city sanitation worker discovered the body of Silviano Vallarta of Arleta at 9:10 a.m. in an alley just east of the 9400 block of Woodman Avenue, Officer Roger Rampton said. Vallarta had suffered at least one gunshot wound to his upper body, Rampton said.
Police did not have a motive for the shooting, Rampton said.
