An elderly Camarillo woman escaped unhurt from a fire Wednesday that destroyed her mobile home and all her belongings, authorities said.
The cause of the fire to the double-wide unit in the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park in Camarillo was undetermined, said a spokeswoman for the Ventura County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the 7:35 p.m. alarm at the park on Calle De La Rosa but were unable to control the blaze until 8:13 p.m.
The loss to the unidentified woman’s mobile home was estimated at $65,000, with another $30,000 damage to its contents, the spokeswoman said.
