Outlook: Espinosa and Newidouski are among the county’s best in their events, providing strength in the distance and weight events. Espinosa was fourth in last year’s section meet in the 800 and 1,600 meters; Newidouski was third in the discus and fourth in the shotput, helping the Dolphins finish seventh in the section’s 4-A division. Blakely says the sprinters and jumpers are improving, and opposing coaches say they like Dana Hills’ depth.
