The body of a 23-year-old Long Beach man was found Sunday in a car that apparently went off west-bound Ortega Highway and plummeted 250 feet down the side of a cliff, authorities said.

The victim was identified as Bradley Ennis Hackman, who had left his father’s home in Murrieta Hot Springs about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, said coroner’s investigator Richard McAnally. He had complained of feeling tired and ill at the time, the investigator added.

The car, found upside down, was spotted Sunday about 2,640 feet east of the San Juan Creak bridge by Caltrans workers who notified the California Highway Patrol at 6:15 a.m., McAnally said. Hackman’s body, without a seat belt, was found in the rear seat.
