Jan van Breda Kolff, basketball coach at Cornell for the past two seasons, will be named coach at Vanderbilt, according to The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville.
The newspaper reported that van Breda Kolff, a Vanderbilt alumnus, will succeed Eddie Fogler, who resigned a month ago to become coach at South Carolina.
Van Breda Kolff, 41, is the son of longtime pro and college coach Butch van Breda Kolff. He was 7-19 in his first season at Cornell and 16-10 last season.
