Country Special: More than 30 country music superstars in 27 locations in more than two dozen cities will be filmed simultaneously on Friday for “A Day in the Life of Country Music,” a two-hour special to be broadcast next season on CBS. Inspired by the popular “A Day in the Life” books, the program starts with a 7 a.m. visit to the Texas set of Vince Gill’s upcoming movie, and ends in the wee hours with concerts by Travis Tritt and Alan Jackson. Other participants include Clint Black, Johnny Cash, Larry Gatlin, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker and Dwight Yoakam.
