In the Century League:

Foothill 10, Orange 8--Playing without its No. 1 singles player Ryan Thompson, Foothill (13-7, 8-2), led by No. 2 doubles team of Tom Lin and Chris Campbell, clinched a share of the Century League title by beating Orange. The Knights share first place with Villa Park.

In the Garden Grove League:

Garden Grove 16, Los Amigos 2--Hitesh Patel swept in singles, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, for host Garden Grove (16-2, 9-1). The Argonauts clinched their first boys’ tennis league championship since 1964. Los Amigos is 5-14, 3-7.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Beach 13, Estancia 5--Julian Zajfen swept in singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for Laguna Beach (15-5, 9-1), which finished as league co-champions with Trabuco Hills.

Laguna Hills 14, Century 4--Chris Marshall swept in singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for Laguna Hills (10-10, 6-4).

Trabuco Hills 16, Costa Mesa 2--Sophomore Nolan Cooper swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles for Trabuco Hills (18-2, 9-1).

In the South Coast League:

Dana Hills 11, Capistrano Valley 7--David Bailey swept at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2, to lead Dana Hills (11-9, 7-3).

Mater Dei 9, San Clemente 9 (Mater Dei wins on games, 76-67)--Bret Hankey swept at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, for Mater Dei (5-7, 4-6).

Mission Viejo 9, El Toro 9 (Mission Viejo wins on games, 89-81)--Mission Viejo (13-5, 8-2) clinched its first league championship in 23 years. At No. 2 singles, Mission Viejo’s Brian Gruner saved six set points, but lost, 7-6, to Johnny France (30-0 in league). France swept 6-3, 7-6, 6-1 for host El Toro (11-6, 6-4).
