SUMI SALAD 2 (3-ounce) packages uncooked ramen noodles (without flavoring packet) 1/2 cup almonds, toasted and sliced 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted Dressing 4 chicken breast halves, cooked and shredded 1 (2-pound) head cabbage, finely chopped 1/2 bunch green onions, thinly sliced 2 tablespoons pickled ginger, chopped

In medium bowl crumble noodles and combine with almonds, sesame seeds and Dressing. Cover and let stand in cool place overnight.

In large bowl combine chicken, cabbage, green onions, ginger and noodle mixture. Toss. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Each of 6 servings contains about: 715 calories; 725 mg sodium; 89 mg cholesterol; 46 grams fat; 42 grams carbohydrates; 41 grams protein; 2.38 grams fiber.

Dressing 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup rice vinegar 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup oil

In small bowl combine sugar, pepper, rice vinegar, salt and oil. Mix well.

MILLION DOLLAR FUDGE (Mamie Eisenhower’s Fudge) 4 1/2 cups sugar Dash salt 2 tablespoons butter 1 (13 1/2-ounce) can evaporated milk 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate pieces 12 ounces German sweet chocolate, broken up 1 (8-ounce) jar marshmallow cream 2 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Combine sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil 6 minutes. Combine semisweet chocolate pieces, German sweet chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in bowl.

Pour boiling syrup over chocolate mixture and beat until chocolate is melted. Pour into buttered 9-inch-square pan to cool. Cut into squares. Makes 30 squares.

Each square contains about: 347 calories; 51 mg sodium; 8 mg cholesterol; 15 grams fat; 54 grams carbohydrates; 4 grams protein; 0.22 gram fiber.
