The Burbank Parks and Recreation Department has added a new summer program to allow children to focus on ecology, culture or sports.

In the new program, children will be able to study ecology at Wildwood Canyon Park, while those in other specialty camps will meet at the Olive Recreation Center to learn about performing and visual arts, drama and theater as well as the fundamentals in baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer.

The city Parks and Recreation Department also offers summer day camps for children ages 6 to 13. The camps run from June 21 through Sept. 3.
