CYPRESS : Park Office to Close on Alternate Fridays
The Cypress Recreation and Park District’s administrative office will be closing every other Friday starting June 25 to accommodate a new employee work schedule.
Recommended by the Orange County Air Quality Management District, the new schedule is being implemented to cut down on traffic and air pollution, said parks director Marvin DeCarlo. The new schedule will not affect classes or events planned for district facilities.
Under the plan, employees will work nine-hour days and have every other Friday off. During the summer months, the district office will be closed June 25, July 9 and 23, and Aug. 6 and 20. For more information, phone (714) 229-6780.
