2 Killed, 1 Hurt in Family Fight
Two women were shot to death and a man was seriously wounded Thursday in North Long Beach when a family dispute escalated into gunfire, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
A man identified as Mark Willis, 36, is suspected of shooting the victims in a home on Downey Avenue, deputies said. He fled to a nearby garage, where he barricaded himself.
A woman in her 20s died at the house, and a 43-year old woman died of gunshot wounds shortly afterward.
