Even meaner and nastier after a two-year hiatus, Lyte lashes out at several targets. She really hits the bull’s-eye on the boastful “Brooklyn” and “Li’l Paul,” a classic rejected woman’s comeback. New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
