Shawn Bradley, Philadelphia’s first-round pick and the second pick overall in the NBA draft, signed a multiyear contract with the 76ers on Wednesday.

Terms were not disclosed, but 76er owner Harold Katz called the signing of the 7-foot-6 Bradley, who has not played in two years, “the biggest gamble I’ve ever taken by far.”

“By far it’s the most lucrative contract I’ve ever signed. Total dollars, it may be one of the highest in sports,” Katz said.
