Steve Young guided San Francisco to a touchdown on the game’s first possession, helping the 49ers beat Pittsburgh, 21-14, in an exhibition game Sunday at Barcelona before a crowd of 45,330 for the first NFL game in Spain.

The first touchdown at Montjuic Olympic Stadium came at the end of a 72-yard drive when Young passed seven yards to Brent Jones.

Young looked relaxed on his scoring drive against the Steelers first-team defense, completing five of six passes, including an 18-yarder to Jones, nine-yarder to Jerry Rice and 21-yarder to John Taylor.

Hugh Millen, who is playing quarterback for the NFL champion Cowboys while Super Bowl MVP Troy Aikman heals from back surgery, was intercepted twice and sacked three times.

In the first half, Dallas lost starting strong safety Darren Woodson to a broken right arm. A Cowboy spokesperson said Woodson would be out a minimum of four to six weeks.
