Linebacker Marvin Jones, the fourth player chosen in the NFL draft, agreed to a five-year contract with the New York Jets. Jones’ deal is reportedly worth more then $6.5 million, including incentives. . . . Linebacker Wilber Marshall of the Houston Oilers will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today and is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks . . . . Running back Barry Foster reported to the Pittsburgh Steelers after missing 20 days of practice in a pay dispute.
