PREP VOICES
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 29, Prep Voices will make its debut as a periodical feature of The Times Orange County’s Prep Wednesday coverage. Prep Voices will be a forum to tackle controversial subjects in the high school sports arena.
Our first topic will be the Blood Rule, adopted by the National Federation of State High School Athletic Assns., which basically prohibits from play any athlete who is bleeding, has an open wound or excessive blood on his/her uniform until proper treatment is administered.
An important part of Prep Voices will be the opinions of our teen-age readers. If you attend an Orange County high school, you are invited to call us with your response to the question posed below. The Times will accept responses for this question through 6 p.m. Saturday.
