The Region : Late-Night Train Set for Fair
Metrolink has added a late-night train to its weekend schedule from the Los Angeles County Fair to Los Angeles.
The new train will leave the Fairplex in Pomona at 10:10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 3. It will arrive in Covina at 10:20 p.m.; Baldwin Park, 10:26 p.m.; El Monte, 10:35 p.m. and Los Angeles, 11 p.m.
Round-trip tickets are $4 from any point on the line between Rialto and Los Angeles. Children younger than 6 and Metrolink monthly pass holders ride free. Those who purchase Metrolink tickets also are entitled to discount coupons for entrance to the fair.
