17 Hurt in Bus Crash

FALLBROOK, Calif. —
Sixteen junior high and high school students and a Navy petty officer were hurt Wednesday when a school bus collided with a car near Camp Pendleton.
Brian Cochran, 13, was in good condition with a minor head injury. The other students were treated at hospitals and released. Chief Petty Officer Brian R. Totten, 24, who was driving the car, was in fair condition with face and chest injuries.
