Mater Dei Wins Championship in Volleyball
Mater Dei defeated Torrance Bishop Montgomery, 15-8, to win the championship at the Redondo Beach girls’ volleyball tournament Saturday night in Redondo Beach.
The Monarchs’ Allison Stricklin was named the tournament’s most valuable player, and Roberta Gehlke was named to the all-tournament team.
