Ventura 28, Dos Pueblos 6--Quarterback Erik Olson ran for three touchdowns, including two in a 19-second span, to lead host Ventura (6-1, 4-0). Olson, who had eight carries for 80 yards, scored his first touchdown from 30 yards after a 17-yard punt return from Aaron Kelly put the Cougars at the Dos Pueblos 30-yard line.

On the ensuing kickoff, Noah Walsh recovered a fumble at the Dos Pueblos 25 and one play later, Olson scored again.

On the Chargers’ next possession, linebacker Alfonso Camarillo intercepted a pass and ran it back 42 yards for the third Ventura touchdown in one minute. Dwayne Mathis rushed for 105 yards in 13 carries and Walsh also had one interception.
