Fire officials on Wednesday sought the cause of a brush fire that burned a quarter-acre near Del Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The hillside fire, which was reported at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday at the end of Crenshaw Boulevard, was extinguished by firefighters within 30 minutes, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said. No homes were threatened or evacuated.
Authorities do not believe it was a copycat fire.
