Tour of Five Designer Homes to Go on Despite Laguna Fire

Share

A tour of five designer-owned homes in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach will go on as planned Sunday despite the recent fire.

Proceeds from the tour, which is sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, will benefit COPES, a Santa Ana-based nonprofit organization that operates shelters for abused children. The interior design group has been working with COPES to refurbish an old home in Santa Ana that will serve children age 7 to 11.

Sunday’s tour of the homes designers have decorated for themselves runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour includes the Laguna homes of Christine Hallen-Berg and Lydia Wang, the Cameo Shores home of Susan White and the Newport Beach homes of Karen Meyers Ziccardi and Joan Neville.

The homes can be reached only by shuttle buses, which will run from Corona del Mar High School, 2101 Eastbluff Drive, Newport Beach, and Laguna Beach High School, 550 Blumont St., Laguna Beach.

Tickets are $18 and will be available at both shuttle locations. For information, call (714) 671-2264.
