The Driver’s Guide To Traffic Trouble

Road closures and repair work on freeways and surface streets in and around the Valley. Information has been provided by Caltrans and cities.

GOLDEN STATE FREEWAY (5)

* At the Simi Valley Freeway: The southbound connector to the eastbound Simi Valley Freeway (118) and the Chatsworth Street on-ramp will be closed Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

* At Sheldon Street: The southbound Sheldon Street on-ramp will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

* At the Pasadena Freeway: The southbound connector to the Pasadena Freeway (110), including the Duvall Street on-ramp and the Stadium Way on-ramp, will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

* At Van Nuys Boulevard: One northbound lane will be closed from the Van Nuys Boulevard under-crossing to the Brand Street under-crossing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

HOLLYWOOD FREEWAY (101)

* At Gower Street: Two northbound lanes will be closed from Gower Street to the Cahuenga Boulevard East on-ramp, including the Argyle Avenue on-ramp, the Cahuenga Boulevard off-ramp and the Highland Avenue off-ramp, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

VENTURA FREEWAY (101)

* At Burbank Boulevard: The westbound Burbank Boulevard on-ramp will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.

VENTURA FREEWAY (134)

* At San Rafael Avenue: The westbound San Rafael Avenue off-ramp will be closed Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

* At Colorado Boulevard: The westbound Colorado Boulevard on-ramp will be closed Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

* At Buena Vista Street: The westbound Buena Vista Street on-ramp will be closed Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

* At Moraga Drive: One southbound lane will be closed from Moraga Drive to Santa Monica Boulevard from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday.

* At Manchester Avenue: The east- and west-bound Manchester Avenue on-ramps to the northbound freeway will be closed Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

* At La Cienega Boulevard: The eastbound La Cienega Boulevard off-ramp will be closed Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SAN BERNARDINO FREEWAY (10)

* At Soto Street: One westbound lane and the bus lane will be closed from Soto Street to State Street from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday.

* At New Avenue: The eastbound New Avenue on-ramp will be closed Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

BURBANK

* At 3rd Street: Only one westbound lane will be open on Angeleno Avenue through the end of the year from 3rd Street to Glenoaks Boulevard.

ANTELOPE VALLEY

The following streets will be closed indefinitely: 235th Street East from Avenue U to Palmdale Boulevard and Avenue S from Longview Road to 165th Street East.

PALMDALE

* At Vicker Way: The Vicker Way and 30th Street West intersection will have traffic restrictions and closures indefinitely.

* At Palmdale Boulevard: There will be lane closures and lane restrictions indefinitely at 35th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard.

* At Sierra Highway: Avenue P, from Sierra Highway to the Antelope Valley Freeway (14), will have lane closures and restrictions indefinitely.
