2 Held After Man Is Slain in Palmdale

A 35-year-old man was fatally shot Monday, and authorities made two arrests shortly afterward, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said.

Authorities did not immediately release the name of the man, who was found dead in a field at Avenue R and 11th Street East in Palmdale about 4:35 p.m., Deputy Larry Mead said.
