SEAL BEACH : Founders Day Event Draws Thousands
The city’s first Founders Day celebration drew thousands of people to thecity’s Old Town district and raised about $7,000 for the city and local nonprofit groups.
Organizers of the Oct. 30 event said it might become an annual tradition.
“It went very well,” said Andy Seymour of the city’s Recreation Department. “I think we might be seeing history in the making here.”
The event included a parade down Main Street and a carnival on the Electric Avenue greenbelt.
