ROUNDUP : Overtime Victory Puts Master’s in Soccer Title Match

Dudley Hitchman scored 18 minutes into overtime to give The Master’s men’s soccer team the lead in its 4-1 victory over Bartlesville (Okla.) Wesleyan on Thursday in the semifinals of the National Christian College Athletic Assn. tournament in Cleveland, Tenn.

Sebastian Bongarra followed Hitchman’s goal with two of his own, sealing the victory and helping the Mustangs (16-6-1) into a championship meeting with Judson (Ill.) College on Saturday.

Goalie Brian Crosson had four saves and Ezequiel Bongarra scored the Mustangs’ first goal.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Antelope Valley 84, Canyons 80--Dan Prince scored 21 of his game-high 27 points in the first half and Marcus Cross scored 19 of his 25 in the second half to lead the visiting Marauders (3-0) to a nonconference victory. Randy Eason led Canyons (0-3) with 25 points.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Moorpark 60, Pasadena 51--The Raiders (1-2) trailed by 10 points at halftime of the Long Beach tournament but turned it on in the final 20 minutes with guard Misty Goodnight scoring 13 of her game-high 15 points. She also had 10 rebounds. Laura Brown added 12 points.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Harvard-Westlake 15, El Dorado 3--The Wolverines won 13 consecutive sets after falling behind, 3-2, to advance to a meeting with St. Lucy’s in the Southern Section Division III championship match Tuesday morning in Claremont.
