Reseda 28, Wilson 7--Tyrone Francis gained 71 yards and scored two touchdowns in seven carries to lead the host Regents. Teammate DeWayne Johnson ran 18 times for 157 yards to lead all rushers.
Reseda will meet Manual Arts in the quarterfinals Wednesday.
Reseda took a 6-0 lead on Francis’ 27-yard run in the first quarter. Francis then capped Reseda’s scoring with an 18-yard run in the fourth.
Wilson took a 7-6 lead on Arlin Slayton’s three-yard run in the first quarter, but Reggie James put the Regents ahead for good on a 31-yard run later in the quarter.
James completed two of five for 71 yards and rushed six times for 34 yards.
