Titans to Face Australian Team
The Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team opens its 1993-94 season with an exhibition against Australia’s Melbourne Magic at 7:30 tonight in Titan Gym.
It will be the first chance for Titan Coach Brad Holland to see this year’s team, which underwent a near total reconstruction in the off-season, against an opponent. Only Greg Vernon (2.3 points, 1.2 rebounds) and Todd Satalowich (0.7 points, 1.7 rebounds) return from last year’s 15-12 team.
Melbourne is coached by Brian Goorjian, son of former Titan assistant Ed Goorjian.

The day and time of this weekend’s NCAA quarterfinal men’s soccer game between Cal State Fullerton and the University of San Francisco will be announced today.
The game will be at the University of San Francisco but the schools could not agree Monday whether to have the game Saturday night, Sunday afternoon or Sunday night. As a result, the dispute went to the NCAA men’s soccer committee, which is expected to rule this morning.
