Paso Robles 42, Nordhoff 7--Junior running back Jerome Thomas rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns in 19 carries to lead visiting Paso Robles (11-1). Thomas scored on runs of 71, 23, 73 and nine yards.
The Rangers (8-4) scored their touchdown in the first quarter on a 29-yard option pass from wide receiver James Colborn to wide receiver Archie Jackson. The play tied the score, 7-7.
With Paso Robles leading at halftime, 14-7, Thomas took control of the game in the third quarter. He scored on a 73-yard sprint down the left sideline. Then Tom Rixman scored from one yard to complete an 87-yard, 13-play drive. Nordhoff was outgained in the third quarter, 196-17.
Nordhoff running back Josh Hawkins gained 99 yards in 17 carries. Jackson caught three passes for 77 yards and one touchdown.
