OUTLOOK

Back from last season is Raibon and his 26-point average as well as four-year starter Rodriguez at point guard. Raibon was second in the county in rebounding with a 12.9 average, shooting 56% from the field and 80% from the free-throw line. Schools such as Virginia and UC Santa Barbara are already showing interest in Raibon. Bauer said this will be one of his better teams and compares it to the 1990 squad that finished 21-6 and reached the Southern Section Small Schools finals, where it lost to L.A. Ribet Academy, 66-60. Gomes is the third returning starter and should provide some outside scoring from the shooting-guard position. Masters returns after a year of schooling in New Jersey and will use his 6-foot-4 frame in the center position. Sophomore Scubla is also 6-4 and will provide some extra front-line size.
