FEDERICO DURAN

Santa Ana, Sr.

Teamed with Juan Zaragoza to lead the top-ranked Saints to the Orange County and Sunset League titles. Finished fourth in the Southern Section Division I-AA final and crossed the finish line with three teammates to win the league final.

JAIME MARTINEZ

Orange, Sr.

Foot Locker National Qualifier for the second consecutive year, won the Century League title and finished first in the Orange County Championships. Second in the State Division I race and sixth in the Foot Locker Western Regionals.

MIKE MORENO

Katella, Sr.

The Southern Section Division II-A champion, he also won the Empire League title and was the county runner-up and fifth-place finisher in the State Division II championships. Led Knights to the Empire League and section Division II titles.

JOEL OROZCO

Santa Ana Valley, Jr.

Burst onto the county scene as biggest surprise of season. Finished fourth in the county championships, then second to Martinez in the Century League finals. Posted the fastest time by a county runner at the Laguna Hills Invitational.

DELPHINO RESENDIZ

Katella, Sr.

Combined with teammate Moreno to form the toughest 1-2 punch in Orange County. Finished third in the section Division II-A race, only two weeks after his second-place finish in the Empire League finals. Finished 14th in the State Division II race.

ADALBERTO SANCHEZ

Capistrano Valley, Jr.

Made a name for himself this fall by placing third in the county championships. The South Coast League champion. he also posted the fastest county time at the Dana Hills Invitational. Finished 12th in the State Division I final.

JUAN ZARAGOZA

Santa Ana, Sr.

Led the Saints to a second-place finish in the State Division I race with a 13th-place finish. One of four Saints to cross the finish line together to win the Sunset League title, then finished fifth in the section I-AA competition.
