PREP WRESTLING : Orange’s Return Is Victorious
Orange recorded its first Century League wrestling victory in a decade with a 58-15 decision over Santa Ana Valley on Wednesday at Orange.
The Panthers, who spent 1989-91 in the Pacific Coast League, had six pins and benefited from three Santa Ana Valley forfeits.
In another Century League match:
Canyon 47, Foothill 15--Chris Lowder scored a 15-0 technical fall for Canyon in its league opener.
In the Freeway League:
Sunny Hills 76, Fullerton 0--The Lancers remained undefeated (13-0, 1-0) in the league opener. Mike Jarrett, second in the county, Darin Beard third and David Casanares fourth helped lift No. 9 Sunny Hills.
