Chey, who missed two weeks because of an injured foot, returned to the lineup last week and led the Royals to three Sunset League victories. Chey had 10 points in a 54-41 victory over Santa Ana and then keyed fourth-quarter rallies in victories over then-No. 5 Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach. Against Fountain Valley, she scored 16 of her 22 points in the final quarter as Rosary rallied from a five-point deficit to win, 68-55; against Huntington Beach, she had eight of her 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Royals rallied from eight points down to win, 50-45.

Other notables:

* Susan Flaming, Cypress, made two three-pointers in overtime in a victory over Katella and had 18 assists in a victory over Buena Park.

* Kiyoko Miller, Brea-Olinda, averaged 20 points in victories over El Dorado and Magnolia.

* Heather Robinson, Costa Mesa, scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds in a 52-51 overtime victory over Estancia.

* Sheri Simala, Fountain Valley, had 19 saves in the Barons’ 0-0 tie with Marina, the top-ranked soccer team in the county and Southern Section.
