PREP NOTES : Sunny Hills’ Sarnecki to Play Volleyball at Rice

Carolyn Sarnecki of Sunny Hills has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Rice, the school announced Thursday.

Sarnecki, a setter, was named first-team All-Southern Section Division II last season. She will join El Toro outside hitter Monika Bickert, who also signed with Rice.

Hilary Kyle of Laguna Beach has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Alabama, Artist Coach Mike Soylular said.

Kyle, an outside hitter, was the Pacific Coast League most valuable player and was selected first-team All-Southern Section Division I. She was first-team Division I and first-team All-State the previous season.
