After pulling out of a meet two weeks ago in the aftermath of the Jan. 17 earthquake, the Cal State Northridge men’s and women’s track teams opened the indoor season Saturday with a solid showing in the Wolf Pack Invitational at the Reno Livestock and Events Center.

Matador athletes posted victories in three events and placed among the top six in several others in the non-scoring meet.

Lori Miller won the women’s mile and Tannel House took the long jump. The Matador men placed first in the 1,600-meter relay.
