Pair of Pharmacists Are True Angels
* Your editorial “A Balm Amid the Pain of the Quake” (Jan. 30) concerning Valley Drug in North Hollywood was right on the mark.
I am a hospice nurse who deals with Valley Drug on a daily basis. Kinder, more attentive, more helpful, more concerned pharmacists are not to be found.
On the day of the earthquake, Irving Reitzenstein not only had the medicine I needed for my patient’s severe pain, he gave my patient’s care-giver enough medicine to get her through until she was able to reach her own pharmacy.
Pharmacists Ralph Figueroa and Irving Reitzenstein are true angels.
