The Calabasas High boys’ basketball team has forfeited a Dec. 7 victory against St. Genevieve because the Coyotes used an ineligible player, Coach Bill Bellatty said.

Rachel McSorley, a senior center for the Nordhoff High girls’ basketball team, said Monday that she will play college basketball at Brown University, a non-scholarship Ivy League school.
Bob Walk, a veteran of 14 major league seasons, has retired from pitching to join the Pirates broadcast team. Walk, a graduate of Hart High, spent the past 10 seasons pitching for the Pirates.
