COLLEGE BASKETBALL DAILY REPORT : ACROSS THE NATION : TCU Fires Iba After 7-20 Season

Texas Christian Coach Moe Iba was fired after compiling a 96-108 record in seven seasons with the Horned Frogs.
“Coach Iba’s first years at TCU were encouraging,” TCU Athletic Director Frank Windegger said in a statement. “But our expectations for the program no longer are being met.”
TCU was 7-20 this season, 3-11 in the Southwest Conference. Last season, the Horned Frogs were 6-22 and 2-12.
Iba will be paid for the remaining two years on his contract.
