Share

In what could be interpreted as a snub of City Section basketball in the San Fernando Valley, only two players from the region were selected to the All-City 4-A Division boys’ basketball team.

Senior center Damon Ollie of North Hollywood High was named to the team for the second year in a row. Teammate Arthur Lee, a junior guard, was also selected.

Ollie averaged 20.1 points, Lee 17.7 for the Huskies, who won the East Valley League.

Senior forward Tremaine Fowlkes of Crenshaw--which won the State Division I title last weekend in Oakland--was selected player of the year. Four Crenshaw players were named to the 16-member team.
