In another nonleague game:

Sunny Hills 7, Costa Mesa 0 (6, rain)--Sunny Hills’ Jennifer Deane struck out six and allowed five hits in shutting out Costa Mesa (3-5). Amanda Orr scored two runs and Krista Ellefsen had two hits and two RBIs for Sunny Hills (4-5).

In the Garden Grove League:

Kennedy 6, Los Amigos 0 (6, rain)--Krista Dowland pitched a six-inning perfect game, striking out 10 for host Kennedy (6-2, 2-0).

Pacifica 3, Bolsa Grande 0--Shelly Dunn improved to 3-0 by pitching a two-hitter for Pacifica (6-2, 2-0). Bolsa Grande is 1-1 in league.

In the Sea View League:

University 2, Santa Margarita 1 (5, rain)--Corby Bouchard’s single drove in Jackie Shammas with the winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning for University (5-6, 2-0). Bouchard struck out three and allowed one earned run for the victory. Santa Margarita is 4-4, 0-2.

Irvine 5, Saddleback 2 (5, rain)--Marianne Calvin hit a three-run home run and Amy Young struck out five and didn’t allow an earned run for Irvine (4-4, 2-0).

Tustin 7, Newport Harbor 2--Third baseman Kristin Kirkwood was four for four, including two doubles, for host Tustin (4-2, 2-0).

Woodbridge 11, Corona del Mar 0--Ashley Boone hit a two-run home run and Lizzie Lemire had three hits and scored three runs to lead Woodbridge (8-3, 2-0). Corona del Mar is 0-2 in league.

In the Olympic League:

Calvary Chapel 9, Capistrano Valley Christian 0--Freshman Linda Van Hook pitched a one-hit shutout and struck out 10 for Calvary Chapel (4-8, 1-1).

Calvary Chapel’s Jennifer Malone had two hits, two runs and two RBIs.

Capistrano Valley Christian dropped to 0-2, 0-1.

Whittier Christian 3, Ontario Christian 2 (8)--Susan Esquibal singled home Deborah Goddu in the eighth inning with the go-ahead run for Whittier Christian (3-5, 2-0).

Goddu had three hits and pitched a complete game, striking out 12 and allowing three hits.

Ontario Christian is 3-1, 1-1.

Brethren Christian 2, Orange Lutheran 0--Tammy Judd had an RBI triple to lead Brethren Christian (8-2, 1-1). Michelle Rueter struck out 12. Orange Lutheran is 5-2, 0-1.

In the Garden Grove tournament:

Sonora 4, Dana Hills 1--Missy Gomez had the only hit, an RBI triple, for Sonora (5-6).
