Voters in three of Seal Beach’s five City Council districts will go to the polls today to fill three seats on the council. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Ballots will be counted tonight at City Hall. For more information, call the city clerk’s office at (310) 431-2527.
* District 1 (Old Town and Surfside areas): County planner Charles Antos faces Councilwoman Marilyn Bruce Hastings and businessman Jim Klisanin.
* District 3 (Marina Hill area): Main Street merchant John Baker faces Mayor Gwen Forsythe and homemaker Kathy Parker.
* District 5 (Leisure World): Engineering manager Richard Davies faces Councilman William J. Doane.
