BOYLE HEIGHTS : Seminar for 1st-Time Home Buyers Today
Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Los Angeles) will hold a free seminar today to help first-time home buyers.
The seminar will include information about qualifying for a loan, establishing credit and programs for first-time buyers. Participants will receive certificates of completion to qualify for special benefits as first-time home buyers.
Only 30% of Boyle Heights residents own their homes, the congresswoman’s office said.
The seminar begins at 1 p.m. at Resurrection Church Hall, 3360 Opal St., near Lorena Street.
