Irwin Beats Norman at Heritage

Steve Dana, formerly of Corona del Mar High, set an Ivy League golf tournament record in leading Princeton to its third consecutive league championship.

Dana, the team’s senior co-captain, shot a three-round 215 at Bethpage State Park in New York to set a record as the tournament medalist. The previous mark of 216 was set by Yale’s Bob Heintz in 1992. Dana was the medalist in each of his last four tournaments this season.
