Dana Hills 3, Mater Dei 0--Pitcher Seth Etherton had 15 strikeouts and a double to lead Dana Hills in its upset of second-ranked Mater Dei (16-5-1, 10-2).
Etherton (8-1), who went the distance and gave up six hits, drove in Seth Maynard with a double in the sixth inning to begin a three-run inning for the Dolphins (12-10, 7-5).
San Clemente 5, Mission Viejo 3--Robert Frith hit his seventh home run of the season, a two-run homer in the first, and Chad Wanders struck out 12 for the Tritons (13-9, 6-6).
