Titans’ Ferguson Goes 7 for 7, Hits 3 Homers
Jeff Ferguson has had a career this weekend at Las Cruces, N.M., and he still has a day to go.
Ferguson, Cal State Fullerton’s second baseman, was seven for seven Saturday, with three home runs, a double, seven runs batted in and five runs scored in the Titans’ 23-10 victory over New Mexico State.
Fullerton had 28 hits against five Aggie pitchers.
Ferguson’s performance followed a four-for-four effort Friday, giving him an 11 for 11 series going into today’s finale.
