A band, in colors of the Netherlands, kept the crowd singing with a varied repertoire, including, “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “Auld Lang Syne,” “Those Were the Days,” “They Call the Wind Mariah” and “California, Here We Come.”

The Dutch team’s next game is in Texas, so maybe they should have added, “The Eyes of Texas.”
